[College Hill Topeka] Volunteer Opportunity

Good morning, neighbors!

Since October, our neighborhood has distributed food boxes to homes in our
area experiencing food insecurity.

The program, Operation Food Secure (OFS), is in need of volunteers to
prepare the boxes for distribution throughout the week.  Below are some
details from Topeka Rescue Mission, the agency coordinating OFS:


   - A semi-truck delivers pallets of food boxes every Monday and Wednesday
   and then we organize all of the orders for the partners coming that week.
   Below are the days and times we are looking for help!
   - Monday’s- 9:30-11:30am (every 2 weeks), 2-3 volunteers
   - Wednesday’s- 9:30-11:30am (every week), 2-3 volunteers
   - We do prep at 206 NW Norris. We also ask volunteers to wear closed toe
   shoes and a mask. I also have this opportunity listed on Topeka Volunteers
