Good afternoon, Neighbors.

Operation Food Secure (OFS) is a collaborative effort between Topeka Rescue Mission, the City of Topeka, and United Way along with 70 other partners to bring food to neighborhoods through the USDA Farmers to Families program (https://www.trmonline.org/operationfoodsecure).

Food boxes include a gallon of milk, fresh dairy products, fresh produce, and precooked meats. These boxes are being distributed in neighborhoods throughout the city and surrounding counties. A contactless porch drop is made available by volunteers.

If you are having trouble making ends meet, are needing to stretch your dollars each month, or know someone who is, here's how to receive a food box:

Call or text 785-409-1599 by 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 13
Include your address, first name, and the number of people living in your home
Delivery will be made between 5:30pm-6:30pm on Thursday, October 15

Flyers will be distributed to houses in College Hill beginning tonight.
