[image: image012.jpg]*NEW THIS SUMMER – The morning portion of each session
will be utilizing the new CAMP GOTR curriculum.*  The program uses an
intentionally designed curriculum focused on the topic of emotions or
friendship, an important component of youth development & social-emotional
learning. Similar to the Girls on the Run 10-week curriculum, the Camp GOTR
curriculum follows a format that provides consistency and structure for the
girls’ experiences, and each daily lesson is offered concurrently with
physical activity.

[image: image013.jpg]*The afternoon session will focus on S.E.T. topics,
exploring different careers within our community with employees from
Bartlett & West.* We will be utilizing the Emmy award-winning
SciGirls.Connect curriculum. The research, multi-media program has reached
over 14 million girls, educators, and families, making it the most widely
accessed girls’ STEM program available nationally. The goal of SciGirls is
to change how millions of girls think about STEM. Plan on an afternoon of
fun hands on activities!

*Participants:* Girls- Grades 5-7 (as of 2018-2019 school year)

Limited space available on a first come, first serve basis.

*Program Hours:* 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday

*Program Dates:* June 11-June 15; July 9-July 13

*Location:* YWCA of Northeast Kansas,

225 SW 12th Street, Topeka

*Fee:* $125/week (limited scholarships available.)

*Registration includes:* Program t-shirt, water bottle, field trips,
snacks, lunch, and supplies.
