*Topeka, Kan.* – On Monday June 20, 2022, the Kansas Department of Health
and Environment (KDHE) announced that they would be following the
recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to
expand COVID-19 vaccine eligibility for children aged 6 months to 5 years
of age.



The SCHD has received its first shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna
pediatric vaccine and will be offering these vaccines, in addition to other
vaccines necessary for going back to school, starting immediately.
Appointments are preferred by calling 785.251.5700, however, walk-ins are
welcome during the following hours:



*Monday, Thursday, Friday
Tuesday                                               Wednesday*

8:00am - 11:00am                                            10:00am -
1:00pm                            8:00am - 11:00am

1:00pm - 4:00pm                                              3:00pm -
6:00pm                              2:00pm - 4:00pm



All immunizations will be administered at our Clinical Services Division,
located at 2115 SW 10th Ave.



Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and everyone entering the
building over the age of 2 is required to wear a mask.
