Subject: Fellowship Hi-Crest Church announces The Bridge Builder’s
Investment Club - an investing and financial literacy club for teens and
caregivers.
To:

Given its exponential growth over the past few years, it's wise to teach
teens the basics of investing—so they get the facts from educated and
experienced industry experts and not some version of the facts from their
friends.

Fellowship Hi-Crest is taking a long-term approach, and our hope is to
interact with students ten times each year for six years. Instead of
helping students climb out of debt, we teach them how to build personal
wealth that prevents them from entering debt. While many of us know the joy
of overcoming debt to build positive personal net worth, we want to build a
bridge so those who follow us won’t have to overcome the same obstacles as
we did and instead can learn from our journey.

The Bridge Builder's Investment Club for teens will *meet every third
Thursday of each month starting January 19th, 2023, from 5:30-7:30* for
fun, friends, food, games, and real-life investing. Investment coaches will
lead teens through interactive experiences and activities teaching
financial literacy and investing. The teens’ caregivers are invited to the
whole experience as well.

Club members will use real money to learn the basics of investing and
finance. Then, they will walk away at high school graduation with funds
they can use towards college, trade school, or their first investment
account.

*MORE ABOUT THE CLUB*

· Each club meeting will include a meal, games, onsite and/or
offsite activities, interesting speakers, and generally a great time
hanging out together!

· The club will start with a nest egg, and the club members will
help direct its investment. As the club members progress through the
program, they will make strategy adjustments with the help of our coaches.

· Teens (6th grade - 12th grade) will learn finance basics, the
DRIP method, how to use ETFs, the fundamentals of growth investing, and
more through interaction and immersion.

· At the end of 12th grade, club members will split a specified
amount of the group's account proceeds above the nest egg. The money will
go towards next steps after graduation - college, trade school, or their
own investment account.

· The club is for teens in 6th - 12th grade and their caregivers.

· The club will meet every 3rd Thursday of the month, Starting
January 19, 2023, from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

· The club will meet at the CRC Building - 455 SE Golf Park Blvd,
Topeka, KS 66605
