*Topeka, Kan.* – The Shawnee County Health Department (SCHD) continues to
follow the guidance provided by the Kansas Department of Health and
Environment (KDHE) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
as it relates to administering COVID-19 vaccine in our community.



Governor Laura Kelly today announced that starting next Monday, March 29,
2021 the State of Kansas will make COVID-19 vaccine available to all
Kansans 16 years of age and older, entering the final Phase 5 of the COVID-19

Starting on Monday, March 29, 2021 all Shawnee County residents 16 years of
age and older will be eligible to receive a vaccine from participating
vaccine providers.
