*Topeka, Kan.* – The Shawnee County Health Department (SCHD), in following
the guidance provided by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment,
has begun administering vaccine to those individuals listed in Phase 2 of
the Kansas’ vaccination prioritization plan today. Vaccination clinics
scheduled for today and tomorrow are focused on first responders and law
enforcement personnel as outlined in Phase 2, as well as those health care
associated workers from Phase 1 that have not yet received a vaccine.



Individuals or organizations that fit the outlined Phase 2 criteria, and
who are interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine as part of Phase 2 are
encouraged to complete the following survey:

*Individuals that are unable to complete the survey online may call the
COVID Hotline at 785.251.4949 for assistance in completing the survey.*



Locally, the Shawnee County Vaccination Collaborative’s speed and progress
is based on the number of doses we receive from the State of Kansas, and
subsequently what the State receives from the Federal Government.



To ensure we are exceeding the transparency needed for these operations,
additional details for vaccination timeframes and scheduling will be
communicated to those organizations and individuals that have completed the
survey as additional vaccine doses become available.
