Hello fellow neighbors,

The City of Topeka partnered with the Topeka Rescue Mission and United Way
of Greater Topeka to provide food boxes to families in need in our
community through a program called Operation Food Secure. The Division of
Community Engagement is hosting several outdoor truck to trunk Pop-Up site
events, throughout the community, during the months of September and
October.  The attached flyer has more details and dates of food
distribution events.

Let's give a big thanks to the neighbors in College Hill who worked to
provide a food distribution event in College Hill on October 1st and
October 28th!

Good afternoon,



The City of Topeka has partnered with the Topeka Rescue Mission and United
Way of Greater Topeka to provide food boxes to families in need in our
community through a program called Operation Food Secure. The Division of
Community Engagement is hosting several outdoor truck to trunk Pop-Up site

We are asking for your help in assisting us in distributing food at the
upcoming Operation Food Secure Pop-Up sites. We will be hosting the events
from 6-8 p.m. and will request that all volunteers arrive at 5:15 p.m. in
an effort to ensure that we are ready to serve our neighbors in the most
efficient manner possible. Please note that the events will be contactless
and PPE gear will be provided to all volunteers in an effort to ensure that
safety measures are adhered to for both our neighbors and our wonderful
volunteers.
