July 4th is quickly approaching! Are you ready for the College Hill festivities? The annual Stars and Stripes Festival on July 3rd and 4th will be here next week. Don't miss an evening in Boswell Park for a dessert potluck, games and live music on July 3rd. Then the historic College Hill parade at 10 am on July 4th. Join in on the fun! Stars & Stripes Festival - July 3rd & 4th - Boswell Square Park

Monday July 3rd  6:30 - 10:00 pm 
Live bluegrass band, Signal Ridge in Boswell Park 
Dessert Potluck 
- bring your favorite dessert to share with your neighbors 
Bike, Trike & Wagon decorating
- some supplies will be provided but bring more to share 
Whipped Cream Pie Eating Contest (8:00 pm)
Giant Jenga
Bring chairs & blankets

Tuesday July 4th
Turtle Races 9:00 am
Parade Staging 9:30 am (13th & Jewell)
Parade 10:00 am
Contest winners announced immediately following parade 
Join us for a FREE Hot Dog lunch in the park after the parade, provided by Westminster Presbyterian Church.

The Details 

Patriotic home photos will be taken Sunday, July 2nd. Photos will be shared on Facebook.
Please move your cars along the parade route. Parade starts at 13th & Boswell, running along College to 16th Street, to Jewell and ending at Boswell Park.
Interested in playing in the famous College Hill Band? Meet at the Wadley’s, 1334 Boswell Tuesday morning at 9 am to practice. Contact John Christensen (785) 357-1437

The Stars & Stripes Festival is the annual event to bring neighbors together and celebrate the 4th of July in College Hill. Wear your College Hill t-shirt with pride! Invite friends & family!

ALERT!  The College Hill Homes Tour and Wall of Fame celebration has been changed to Sunday, October 15.  The date in the last newsletter is not correct.  Plan now to be in town and participate in this fun weekend in our neighborhood.
